New signage has been approved for the Crofton Roman Villa, enhancing its visibility and presentation as part of its refurbishment.
The Plans Sub-Committee No. 2 of Bromley Council met on Thursday, July 16, 2026, and granted advertisement consent for the removal of existing signs and the installation of two new wall-mounted, non-illuminated panel signs on the east and west elevations of the building. Additionally, a painted mural sign will be displayed on the south elevation.
The officer's report indicated that the proposed advertisements are of high quality, relevant to the site's function, and will not adversely affect visual amenities or highway safety. These new signs will replace existing ones as part of the building's refurbishment.
