Drugs have emerged as the most frequently reported issue in anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases opened by Barnet Homes in the first quarter of the financial year 2026/27.

In the period from April to June 2026, Barnet Homes initiated 18 new ASB cases. Of these, drug-related issues accounted for the highest number of individual reports, with six such cases.

Overall, Barnet Homes opened 66 cases in total during this period, managed by a team of three officers. The most common issues were drugs (15 cases), followed by domestic abuse (13 cases), harassment (12 cases), and criminal activity (11 cases).

Barnet Homes' key priorities include maintaining tenancies while adopting a robust approach to enforcement, working closely with partners such as the police and council services. The organisation has reported a positive impact from new reporting lines for ASB, which has led to an increase in contacts received by the ASB team.
