Redbridge Council's Cabinet has agreed to tender its leisure and culture services separately, a decision made during a meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Previously delivered by Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure (Vision RCL), the services will now be put out to tender individually. This includes contracts for leisure and sports facilities, grounds maintenance, and libraries and culture.

Authority has been delegated to the Executive Director of Place, Communities and Enterprise, in consultation with the Executive Director of Resources and the Director of Assurance, to make the necessary decisions related to this procurement project. The report was introduced to the Cabinet by Councillor Helen Mullis, Cabinet Member for Leisure and Culture.
