Enfield Council is set to embrace the future after approving a new Digital and AI Strategy at a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, 10 September 2025.
The Council-wide Digital and Data and Artificial Intelligence Strategy aims to modernise services and improve accessibility for residents. The strategy aligns with the Council’s Plan 2023-26 and is designed to support the Council’s Workforce Strategy by delivering accessible and improved services.
According to the meeting minutes, Digital Services will now develop a detailed delivery plan and roadmap, including specific measures and timelines. These plans will be integrated into the Digital Services Portfolio for 2026/27 and beyond, ensuring a long-term commitment to digital transformation and the ethical use of AI within the council.
The agenda for the meeting also covered a range of other topics, including housing, environment and planning, and resources and performance.
