The Hillingdon Corporate Resources & Infrastructure Select Committee has outlined its key areas of focus for the upcoming year, following its meeting on Wednesday, 17 September 2025.

The committee, chaired by Councillor John Riley, discussed its Work Programme, ensuring alignment with the council's broader objectives and efficient resource allocation. The Work Programme sets out the topics that the committee intends to focus on over the coming year, helping to ensure that the committee's work is aligned with the council's priorities, and that it is making the best use of its resources. The Agenda frontsheet detailed the schedule for the meeting, which also included reviews of the Annual Complaint & Service Monitoring Report, the Budget & Spending Report, and the Forward Plan.

The Annual Complaint & Service Monitoring Report (1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025) was reviewed to identify areas for service delivery improvement. The Annual Complaint Report is a key tool for local authorities to monitor their performance.

The Budget & Spending Report was also on the agenda, allowing the committee to scrutinise the council's financial management. The Monthly Budget Report provides details of the council's income and expenditure.

Furthermore, the committee discussed the Forward Plan, a list of upcoming council decisions. The Forward Plan is published quarterly, offering residents insight into future decisions.

The Work Programme sets the committee's priorities for the year, ensuring its work supports the council's strategic goals.
