Kensington and Chelsea Council is considering making the Notting Dale Heat Network Ltd dormant, deeming it surplus to requirements
, according to the agenda for the Shareholder Committee meeting on Tuesday, 11 November 2025.
The Notting Dale Heat Network Ltd was established by the council to provide heating and hot water to residents in the Notting Dale area.
The Shareholder Committee, consisting of Cllr Johnny Thalassites (Lead Member for Finance, Customer Services & Net Zero Council) as Chair, Cllr Cem Kemahli (Lead Member for Planning & Public Realm), and Cllr Sof McVeigh (Lead Member for Housing Management, Housing Safety & Building New Homes), will discuss the proposal at the meeting. The agenda indicates that the committee will also review the draft minutes from the previous meeting held on 22 January 2025.
The report pack for the meeting includes several appendices related to the proposal to make Notting Dale Heat Network Ltd dormant. These include a revised Articles of Association, a deed of Termination, a special Resolution for adoption of revised Articles of Association, and a safety Impact Assessment.
