The Kensington and Chelsea Adult Social Care & Health Select Committee convened on 26 November 2025, to examine the potential effects of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) merger on local healthcare services. The committee meeting, accessible via livestream, addressed the upcoming consolidation of the North West London ICB with the North London ICB, set to occur on 1 April 2026.
The merger will create a single organisation responsible for strategic commissioning across 13 London boroughs, including Kensington and Chelsea, serving approximately 4.5 million residents. To ensure a smooth transition and minimise disruption to patient care, the committee is planning further scrutiny.
