Haringey residents may experience delays in receiving essential community equipment following the liquidation of NRS Healthcare, the borough's previous provider. The liquidation has also delayed recruitment to the commissioning team, which could impact the delivery of savings within adult social services.
According to the Minutes Public Pack 13112025 Adults Health Scrutiny Panel, Jo Baty, Service Director for Adult Social Services, stated that the recruitment delays, stemming from the NRS Healthcare liquidation, could hinder the team's ability to deliver planned savings.
The issue was discussed at the Adults & Health Scrutiny Panel meeting on 16 December 2025, where councillors examined the implications of the provider's failure. The agenda for the meeting is available online.
