Network Rail is exploring options to bring the north bound platform station house at Catford Bridge Station back into use. The agency is working with Lewisham Council and prospective tenants to determine the best use for the building, though specific types of tenants have not been disclosed.

At the Public Transport Liaison Forum (PTLF) meeting on Wednesday 17 December 2025, Southeastern Railway (SER) and Network Rail reported that they have been working with these partners to explore options for the station house. According to the Public Reports Pack, major refurbishment works would be required, and potential sources of funding are being explored.

This update was provided in response to a question about bringing the north bound platform station house at Catford Bridge Station back into use, as detailed in the 17 December 2025 PTLF - Questions and Answers document.

Network Rail retains six commercial properties within the Borough of Lewisham. Of these, four are currently let to commercial tenants, but the specific uses are not detailed. The remaining two are currently unlet: the former station building at Catford Bridge and Arch 61 at Whitepost Street including surrounding land. Access to Arch 61 is significantly restricted due to ongoing works in a neighbouring arch, rendering it currently unlettable. The nature of these works was not specified in the meeting information.
