Ealing Council's Cabinet has approved the establishment of a new joint committee, the West London Alliance Joint Committee,
which will bring together five London boroughs: Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Harrow, and Hounslow. This new body will replace the West London Economic Prosperity Board.

The West London Alliance Joint Committee will adopt the functions and procedure rules of its predecessor, with the aim of ensuring they are relevant, provide clarity on future decision-making processes, and align with best practices. The new committee's terms of reference and procedure rules were adopted by the Cabinet, reflecting the wider remit of the West London Alliance and setting out the governance procedures it needs to follow.
Ealing Council will be a member of this new committee. The Leader of the Council, Councillor Peter Mason, will serve as Ealing's sole representative on the committee.

The establishment of the West London Alliance Joint Committee marks a step towards ensuring streamlined and effective governance for regional collaboration among the participating boroughs.
