A planning application for the development of land to the rear of 39-50 Vicarage Park in Plumstead has been deferred by Greenwich Council's Local Planning Committee. The decision to defer was made to allow for a site visit to be arranged, following a request from at least one member of the committee.

The application sought permission for the construction of six new dwellinghouses on the site, which is currently overgrown and contains dilapidated stable buildings. The proposal also included associated landscaping, refuse and cycle storage, and improved pedestrian access.

The request for a site visit was made by at least one committee member, as noted in the meeting minutes. This step was deemed necessary to allow for a more thorough assessment of the site before a final decision is made.
