Hillingdon Council has awarded a £2.54 million annual contract to Oakray Ltd for the servicing, repairs, maintenance, and installation of domestic gas-fired heating systems across the borough.
The four-year contract, with an option to extend for a further two years, aims to ensure the safety and reliability of heating installations for the council's housing stock, which comprises approximately 8,700 boilers.
The decision was made by the council's Cabinet during a meeting on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Councillor Nick Denys, Cabinet Member for Planning, Housing & Property, highlighted the importance of the contract in ensuring resident safety.
Oakray Ltd was selected following a competitive tender process. The contract is estimated to be worth £2.54 million annually, a figure confirmed in the Printed minutes of the Cabinet meeting.
