Tower Hamlets Council to Launch New HR Dashboard for Staff Data Tracking
Tower Hamlets Council is set to launch a new HR dashboard to enhance the tracking and management of staff data, following discussions at the Human Resources Committee meeting on Tuesday, 13 October 2026. The initiative aims to improve data accuracy and centralise reporting.

The dashboard, a key initiative to improve data accuracy and centralise reporting, was highlighted by Ellen Clarke, Director of Human Resources, as a crucial tool for monitoring various metrics. These include declarations of interest and corporate mandatory training completion rates, which will now be tracked centrally.
Ellen Clarke elaborated on the dashboard's capabilities, explaining that it will help to track these metrics and improve data accuracy. She noted that for services like waste management, historical data for mandatory training, often delivered through toolbox talks, has not always been consistently fed into the corporate centre. Efforts are now underway to address these historical inconsistencies, with remedial work being undertaken to rectify the situation.
The committee also discussed senior recruitment, employee relations casework, and savings from early retirement and voluntary redundancy schemes. The new HR dashboard is expected to provide a clearer overview of these areas moving forward.
