Haringey Council's Planning Sub Committee has reviewed a proposal for emergency housing at High Road, Tottenham. The plan, presented at a meeting on Tuesday, aims to provide short-term accommodation for vulnerable individuals in the area.
The Planning Sub-Committee reviewed a pre-application briefing concerning the proposal for 312 High Road, N15 4BN. The plan includes the refurbishment, conversion, and extension of the existing building, along with the construction of two new single-storey buildings to the rear. According to the agenda the scheme would retain commercial use on part of the ground floor, specifically a café/restaurant, and provide 52 partially self-contained units for short-term emergency accommodation.
