Harrow Council's Planning Committee has approved a new four-lane net facility for Pinner Cricket Club, to be located at Montesole Playing Fields.
The decision was made at the committee's meeting on Thursday, 25 September 2025, where application PL/0598/25 was discussed. The proposal sought permission to extend the existing two-lane cricket net facility to create a four-lane net facility at Montesole Playing Fields, Grimsdyke Road, Hatch End.
The reports pack states that the proposed development complies with land use policies by providing new sports facilities on an existing cricket field on designated open space.
According to the meeting agenda, the Chief Planning Officer recommended that the Planning Committee grant planning permission for the project.
The Planning Committee members present at the meeting included Councillor Marilyn Ashton (Deputy Leader of the Council and Portfolio Holder for Planning & Regeneration), Councillor Christopher Baxter, Councillor Samir Sumaria, Councillor Zak Wagman, Councillor Ghazanfar Ali, Councillor Peymana Assad, and Councillor Nitin Parekh.
