Catford Bridge station could see major refurbishment works if funding is secured, according to Southeastern/Network Rail.

During a Public Transport Liaison Forum meeting on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, Southeastern/Network Rail representatives addressed questions about bringing the north bound platform station house at Catford Bridge Station back into use. The discussion took place during a meeting where Councillor Louise Krupski, Deputy Mayor and Environment, Transport and Climate Action, and Councillor Sian Eiles were in attendance.

Southeastern responded that major refurbishment works would be required to bring the station back into use, and that the company is exploring potential sources of funding for the project.

While the specific refurbishment works required and potential funding sources were not detailed in the meeting information, the Public Transport Providers - Responses document may provide further information.
