Harrow Council has appointed a new Strategic Director for Resources & Innovation, following a meeting of the Chief Officers' Employment Panel on 5 November 2025.
The panel convened to interview shortlisted candidates for the role, as outlined in the agenda. The public reports pack indicated that the press and public were excluded from the substantive part of the meeting. This was due to the discussion involving confidential information relating to individuals and the financial and business affairs of particular persons, including the council itself.
The Chief Officers' Employment Panel included Councillor Paul Osborn, Leader of the Council; Councillor Marilyn Ashton, Deputy Leader of the Council and Portfolio Holder for Planning & Regeneration; Councillor David Perry, Leader of the Labour Group; Councillor Natasha Proctor, Deputy Leader of the Labour Group; Councillor David Ashton, Portfolio Holder for Finance & Highways; Councillor Stephen Greek, Portfolio Holder for Performance, Communications & Customer Experience; and Councillor Simon Brown.
