Camden Council is updating its complaints policy to ensure it aligns with the amended Housing Ombudsman's Complaint Handling Code.
The Audit and Corporate Governance Committee reviewed the council's complaints policy and procedure at their meeting on Thursday, 27 November 2025. The policy was last amended in 2023. Councillors were asked to approve the District Management Complaint procedure to ensure it aligns with the council's procedure. The Review of Complaints Policy report asks the committee to approve the District Management Complaint procedure to ensure it aligns with the council's procedure.
To ensure consistency and efficiency, the District Management Complaint procedure needs to align with the overall council complaints procedure.
