Greenwich Council is set to launch a new online portal, Community Conversations Greenwich, aimed at significantly boosting resident engagement and participation in local decision-making. The platform, scheduled to go live in March 2026, will feature automatic translation into 15 non-English languages, ensuring greater accessibility for the borough's diverse communities.

The new Community Conversations Greenwich portal is expected to build upon the success of the council's existing online portal, which has attracted over 46,000 visitors and generated more than 6,300 consultation responses.

While the portal will offer automatic translation into 15 non-English languages, no other specific accessibility features have been detailed at this stage.

The initiative is part of the council's broader efforts to enhance communication and involvement, as outlined in documents such as 5.1 Cabinet Priorities Update March 2026.
