Bromley Council's Executive committee has approved the award of a contract for learning disability complex needs day services. The decision, made during a meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, will see a new contract for the service at Astley Day Centre commence on August 16, 2026.
The contract will run for an initial five-year period, with an option to extend for a further three years. The Learning Disability Complex Needs Day Service is currently provided by Eleanor Care under a contract that was extended until August 15, 2026. The new contract aims to ensure continued provision of vital day activities for adults with complex learning disabilities, offering them on-site and community-based support.
