A petition calling for the retention of Putney's 33-metre swimming pool has been presented to Wandsworth Council.
The petition, signed by 1,633 residents from West Putney and the wider Putney area, was handed in during an extraordinary council meeting on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.
Councillor Nick Austin presented the petition, highlighting the residents' protest against any proposal to reduce the pool's length to 25 metres.
