Hounslow Council is set to address a dangerous junction at High Street and the A312 in Cranford following discussions at the Heston and Cranford Area Forum. Residents raised significant issues regarding the junction, prompting councillors to commit to action.

One of the key areas of concern was the junction of High Street and the A312 in Cranford. Residents highlighted frequent near-miss accidents due to poor road markings and confusion for drivers. A resident described the road markings at the junction as absent nil , adding that drivers get very confused as to which position to take from the outside to the outside to the inside inside and this has been going on for several years now .

Councillors assured attendees that discussions were ongoing with Transport for London (TfL) to improve the junction and pledged to push for action on road markings and to address the safety issues.
