Clockhouse residents are set to benefit from a range of housing improvements, including major works at Hillcrest Parade and Alexandra Gardens, as well as energy efficiency upgrades.

The Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee received an update from the Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP) at their meeting on 8 July 2025, outlining the planned works. The update included details of major projects.

Hillcrest Parade

Major works at Hillcrest Parade will include new external fabric (roof, windows, and brickwork), refurbishment of communal areas and stairs, ventilation systems and decoration for residents' homes, and community centre/external works.

Energy Efficiency Works

Energy efficiency works are also planned, including storage battery installation and insulation.

Alexandra Gardens

At Alexandra Gardens, improvements will include brickwork and pointing repairs, replacement of rainwater goods, soffits and fascia, uPVC window and rear door replacements, upgrading roof insulation, and concrete repairs to external walkways.
