Harrow Council is set to reopen a face-to-face contact point on Gaten Road by the end of the year, offering residents a place to get help without needing an appointment.
The announcement was made by Councillor Paul Osborne, Leader of the Council, during a Council meeting on 18 September 2025. The move aims to improve accessibility to council services for residents, following previous service cuts made in 2019.
We are reopening a face-to-face contact point in Harrow without needing appointments,
Councillor Osborne stated. The previous General Inquiries phone line and face-to-face contact point were closed in 2019.
The reopening of the contact point is part of a broader effort to restore services that were previously cut.
