Hounslow Council is nearing the final stages of awarding a contract for improvements to Baber Bridge, following concerns raised by residents at the Bedfont and Feltham Forum in 2022. The announcement was made at the Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum meeting on 25 September 2025, where updates on the project were a desired outcome.
According to the Public Reports Pack, a consultant has been selected, and the council aims to complete all legal and procedural requirements for the contract award by the end of July. The preliminary design is expected to be completed within the next 12 months.
The Baber Bridge project has been a topic of discussion at previous Bedfont and Feltham Area Forums.
