The transfer of Bedfont Pits to council ownership is progressing, with Hounslow Council addressing resident concerns regarding the land. The update was provided at the Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum meeting on 25 September 2025.
The council is continuing to report issues relating to Bedfont Pits to the owners while working with solicitors to finalise the transfer. The council acknowledged concerns about the neighbouring land known as Padstow Walk, as well as the land known as Ex Urban Farm, and is collaborating with internal colleagues to address these issues.
At the previous Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum meeting held on 10 July 2025, Councillor Lily Bath stated that the council would continue to report any issues relating to The Pits to the owners on behalf of residents whilst work continues with solicitors to accomplish the final details ahead of the transfer.
