Redbridge Council will keep Roding Homes Ltd in a dormant state, according to a report discussed at the Shareholder Reference Group meeting on Thursday, 27 November 2025.
The council's decision comes as a result of a shift towards direct delivery of services, eliminating the need for Roding Homes Ltd as a separate delivery vehicle. The company will now be overseen by the Executive Director of Resources while remaining dormant.

The Shareholder Reference Group exercises the Council's role as shareholder in Council's wholly owned companies and acts with the delegated authority of the Cabinet to amend Article of Association of the Company and appoint and remove Company Directors.
