Hillingdon Council has approved the publication and consultation of its Proposed Submission (Regulation 19) West London Waste Plan. The decision was made during a Council meeting held on Thursday, 24 September 2026, as detailed in the Public reports pack.

A motion debated the closure of the Tavistock Road Civic Amenity Site, with arguments that a larger population requires more waste capacity, not less.
